Deep Blue Marine

This was produced by Eric Bunch as a promo for Deep Blue Marine.

As this was the first time we lowered the blower on site, and as the sea was a little rough, we went quite slowly. Allan shot this with his little hand held digital as I was stranded in Santo Domingo with a transmissionless truck.

Speaking of blowers, this blow hole is along the road to Las Galeras. The kids called it the devil’s mouth due to the color and the breathing sounds.

The first experience with the blower showed us some interesting things. We expected a lot of sand and mud to bubble up near the prop but that didn’t happen. It blew down through the coral and popped up sometimes quite a distance from the boat.

It took a lot longer than this to build it!!
