Guns, Girls and Gambling
Deep Blue Marine was approached last week for permission to shoot the exterior of the office building as a Sheriff's Office in the upcoming feature film "Guns, Girls and Gambling". The comedy has quite a lineup of stars including Christian Slater, Dane Cook, Megan Park, Sam Trammell (all of whom were in this shot), as well as Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins and Helena Mattson.
The story throws Elvis impersonators, Indians, modern cowboys, a 6-foot-tall blond assassin, a frat boy, a corrupt sheriff and a prostitute into a chase for a priceless American Indian artifact stolen during a poker game at an Indian casino.
It was great fun having the cast and crew in our offices as we took every opportunity to explain what it is we do. They, like most, were amazed that an underwater recovery company currently working in the Caribbean had their head office in the 2nd driest state in the nation. It was an enjoyable day.
