I agree, without the right Captain and Crew there would be no contracts in my opinion. We are lucky to have them working for dpbe! It's great to see two areas two work now! Nice job!! and Oh what an area to be working! One area of the new world where many ships, were wrecked on their way home loaded with almost anything imaginable! Stay safe Billy and crew! I feel you will make us all proud to be part of dpbe!

Thanks to all. I am sure it will take time for the significance of this latest announcement to really sink in. We have earned the respect and the trust of the government of a foreign country to come and help them directly with their heritage. It is a great honor and a responsibility that we do not take lightly at all. This industry has undergone, and will continue to undergo, many changes. In the space of a very short time focus has changed and we are proud to be a part of that change. As stated in the PR, kudos to Capt. Billy and Alejandro for their diligence. This is really a reward they have earned.

Grats Deep Blue
Ive never thought this company was a fly by night kinda place. I have been wrong on the timeline for great success. I believe it is still coming. Dont wanna say anything wrong but what kind of excitement has the stuff from terry's site generated if that can be shared. Im kinda curious. Thanks for all the hard work and staying the course. It is appreciated im glad ive stuck around all these years. Its been fun to watch and be a small part of. Im working a 7 and 7 schedule. trying to figure out if I can make shareholders meeting now. One more question even if we cant go dive with you guys now (I have no idea if thats still possible or not) is there good recreational diving where the meeting is taking place?? Even though these two new sites are great dont want folks to forget you spent Five hard years diving and working already. Great safety, success, and well wishes for the future

Congratulations on securing the recent contracts. Good Luck and Happy Hunting! I appreciate the effort the staff and crew have put in to make these projects happen. I think it shows that when you take the time to do a job right, as the crew did on the Scipion, you are rewarded for your efforts. Again, thanks to the crew on the boats looking for the good stuff! I pray for a safe successful venture for all involved.

July 29, 2010 9:30 AM EDT

SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/29/10 -- Deep Blue Marine, Inc., (PINKSHEETS: DPBE), announced today that the company has entered into a second major contract in the Dominican Republic. Under the direction of the Government of the Dominican Republic, and working under the supervision of the Marina de Guerra Dominicana and an inspector from the Oficina Nacional de Patrimonio Cultura Subcuatico, Deep Blue Marine, Inc. has signed an agreement to provide services in the area of survey and recovery of artifacts for an undisclosed permitted area on the North Shore of the Dominican Republic. The company-owned dive and recovery vessels will be on site within days to begin work.

Deep Blue Marine, Inc. has been in the recovery business for several years and has recovered airplanes, modern sunken vessels, industrial equipment and historical shipwrecks. The company houses many of its artifacts in a company owned museum located in Samana, Dominican Republic and plans to open similar venues in that country in the near future.

Wilf Blum, President and CEO, stated, "We are very excited about this new contract, as this area of the Dominican Republic is in the heart of the major shipping lanes of the new world. From the time Columbus discovered this country in 1492 until present day, ships have traversed this area. The historical impact of shipping in this area cannot be overestimated. We have charted many significant wreck sites and have determined this is indeed a very important historical area. Over the centuries, ships have washed up on the reefs and shores of this stretch of land as hurricanes, storms and poor navigation took their toll. The company is pleased to be given this incredible opportunity to recover history and preserve history for future generations. Deep Blue wishes to publicly thank and commend Captain Billy Rawson and archaeologist Alejandro Selmi, plus the crews of both the 'Lady Laura' and the 'Cap'n Tracy,' for all the work they have performed in securing this incredible opportunity for our company.

"As a company, we look at this area as perhaps one of the most important areas ever to be explored as there were several significant vessels of record that washed up on the north shore during hurricanes. Adding this part of the country to the recently announced area in Punta Cana, which contract exists under the auspices and existing contract that Fundacion Puntacana has with the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the Dominican Republic, will provide us with the ability to explore the two most historically important shipping lanes of the New World that touch on this island nation. In the Punta Cana area, we are most interested in the 1502 fleet that lost over 20 vessels in one storm. The losses in both of these areas were staggering and our work allows us to bring to light the conditions under which the men lived. We hope to recover many of the incredible historical artifacts that lay on the bottom of the ocean. These items have remained lost to history for hundreds of years. Upon recovery they will be turned over to the Oficina Nacional de Patrimonio Cultura Subcuatico for cataloging and restoration. Fundacion Punta Cana's division of items recovered will be housed in a museum that Fundacion Punta Cana is constructing within the Altagracia Province. The items recovered on the North Shore will be housed in the National Museum in Santo Domingo and also in The Shipwreck Museum owned and operated by Deep Blue Marine, Inc., located in Samana, Dominican Republic."

Journalists and individuals seeking interviews and photos of artifacts are encouraged to contact Mr. Randy Champion at Deep Blue Marine's head office in Salt Lake City, Utah, at 801-586-1873, cellular 801-631-2904 or email at media@alldeepblue.com. All media will be directed through Mr. Champion.

That trophy will be built, but it will look like small round gold and silver discs, chains and statues that were built hundreds of years ago and just waiting for us to bring them home. A good friend of mine in this industry always says that the best stuff hides out and tries not to be found. I think it is just the opposite, It knows the measure of it's creation was to adorn the human race and help make things beautiful, it wants to be found but only by the right people, and that would be us.

This is the time and we are inthe right place.

I also had the same thing happen. What i dont like is two computers of mine has been infected in as many weeks. Our Archeologist just had someone hack into his Yahoo acct. and was asking all his contacts to send money. Hope this isnt a Deep Blue only deal. Both my other computers were infected with a bogus security alert asking to buy the program to fix the viruses. You couldnt get past that page and when you went on their site to fix the computer it asked for all your credit card info. Thats it! where's my gun. Oh thats right this government took them from me. Then it will have to be my Machete. But someone is going down!

I took a "Shot to the Bow" myself. Norton 360 seems to have returned fire and sunk the virus.

I think you OK with Macs...Pretty sure this is a Windows thing...I just talked to Wilf and he's getting in touch with Randy to get this taken care of...If you do a Google Search for "Trojan.JS.Redirector.cq" you should be able to get more info...Looks like a new virus that started popping up a couple of weeks ago...What bugs me is that if I read some of the info right, someone would have had to hacked into the website to infect it.

This is a warning and hope that whoever runs the website can get this taken care of ASAP....When I went into the "Photos" section, my security program immediately detected an atttempt to load a Trojan program onto my computer. The exact message was:

"Loading object http: //ae.awaue.com/7 containing Trojan program Trojan.JS.Redirector.cq detected"

My Security Program "Kaspersky Internet Security 2010" denied this program access to my machine, so I am safe.

This happened when I clicked to get into the "Photos" section and when I clicked any catagory in the Photos section... UPDATE - THE VIDEO, BLOG AND STORE SECTIONS ALSO APPEAR TO BE INFECTED

So until we hear from Randy or the webmaster of the site, I strongly advise everyone DO NOT GO TO ANY SECTION EXCEPT THE FORUM of the site....Stay safe...Faison

I'm talking about a serious trophy on a wall plaque.

Anyone with some ideas they can draw into a picture for us to vote on would be great.

Let's do it right, get a few drawings or pictures and get a really outstanding trophy on a wall plaque that will knock you're socks off just to get a glimpse of it.

It must express our determination, and the blood and guts we shareholders have gone through to survive, thrive and get where we are today.

We've put hard earned cash into buying shares and we've been through some tough sea's to get where we are today, difficult doesn't even describe it IMO.

To put it mildly, we've come a long way to get here. Deep Blue Marine has always been a jewel in my mind's eye. All the shareholders must feel the same way, shareholders and the company have been through a lot together in this adventure. How do we express that and add some high sea's and adventure along with treasure and our ship battling an ocean full of dangers.

We've earned and we deserve a master trophy on a wall plaque built by a master builder to create a masterpiece for all to see.

It's great that they took an interest in Deep Blue's adventure. I hope they all understand the huge importance of the work you're doing and the good relationship we've developed with the people and the leaders in the DR.

Dane Cook would be a perfect spokesman for Deep Blue. He has the edge that would dynamo our cause and Deep Blue's gritty determination to be the greatest treasure hunters in the world's history.

I'd really like to get across to them the loyal and dedicated shareholders Deep Blue has had for the last 5 years. It's time for the shareholders to pitch in $20 each and get Deep Blue Marine a wall plaque and some pictures for framing into both the Utah and the DR locations. All the visiter's should see that we have that kind of long term shareholder and that they've missed the last few years but we'd welcome them to join us for the future.

We're a tough bunch of shareholders and we can see the value of owning DPBE shares.

Everyone at Deep Blue has done everything they can to share the adventure and those are the kind of pictures we should display on the wall.

Hey Huebie, I would guess he must have been 14 maybe 15. I have known him since first coming here. I looked at some pictures today that i had from a couple of years ago. He was sprouting up like a weed. Damn nice kid. I am trying to find out what i can do to make sure he has a decent send off. Believe me when i say it was a very sad day for me. Seeing such a young person leave this planet so early in life. Just don't seem fair.
